Sydney

Me and Owen headed to Sydney before the flight out to the States. What an awesome city! I wish I had gotten more time here. But the two days there was enough to make me not want to return back to the snowy, icy states.
Darling Harbour in the evening was beautiful. The lights of the city on the harbour water reflected to make everything even brighter.
It was a calm area. Even though the amount of people around at the restaurants and at the harbour was a large amount, it did not feel incredibly busy. There were kids playing in the water fountains, and groups of girls going for a night out in their stilettos.

A slow walk around Darling Harbour is very tranquil.
And it was not uncommon for a commuter bike to be a nice fixie track bike with Hed 3 Carbon wheels.
The next day was another nice stroll to Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

While we missed the hype of Oprah at the Opera, we did get to check everything out.
The outer side of the Opera House was much different than I thought. It was crafted with neat tiles that fit properly together. The color was more of a creme.

If you were lucky and had a little money to spend, you could climb the Syndey Harbour Bridge with a support crew of other frightened volunteers. The view must have been breathtaking though.
While the silly people are climbing the bridge, we had our own idea of fun...finding some delicious cupcakes.
Our choice cupcake was chocolate molten.
We also opted for the cheaper bridge climb and walked across the bridge.

It still gave us a great view of the Opera House.
Here is a view of the Australia Flag with the Centerpoint Tower in the background

And finally, a friendly companion to join us on our travels. We removed him from our car.
