Moving Out

So the week leading up to the Ore to Shore/Kewaskum extravaganza has been hectic and even stressful for me.It has been all about packing up for the 5 months in Kentucky before the next time I come home; more than likely. With work, biking, and everything else, it was hard to focus on the move.

I went out kayaking one beautiful evening which was a nice break from the hectic monotany. I hadn't been out at all this year so I was very glad to have fit it in!
The night was beautiful and I saw some great things. It's weird to live right on the river like this and sometimes forget its beauty. Usually in the summer we spend a lot of time down at the river, but this had been the first time I put my toes in its water all summer.

I really hope that once I get to school things will slow down a bit and I will have a chance to breath. I know that sounds oxymoronic, but I felt busier in the summer than I had last school year. So other than that, it is off to Ore to Shore on Saturday for a nice 48 mile jaunt around a few towns -mountain bike race, and then a 5 hour drive to Kewaskum for a nice 20 mile mountain bike race. What better?
